Plus de 70 % du&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lanouvelletribune.info\/2026\/04\/afrique-les-10-pays-les-plus-touches-par-la-hausse-des-prix-du-carburant-en-avril-2026\/\">carburant<\/a>&nbsp;raffin\u00e9 consomm\u00e9 en&nbsp;<strong>Afrique<\/strong>&nbsp;provient de l\u2019\u00e9tranger, un ratio que le rapport de l\u2019AFC projette en hausse : la d\u00e9pendance aux importations de carburant passerait de 74 millions de tonnes en 2023 \u00e0 86 millions de tonnes en 2040.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 des routes d\u2019approvisionnement expos\u00e9e par le conflit iranien<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9clenchement de la guerre contre&nbsp;<strong>l\u2019Iran<\/strong>&nbsp;a montr\u00e9 une fragilit\u00e9 structurelle que les analystes signalaient depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es.&nbsp;<strong>L\u2019AFC<\/strong>&nbsp;souligne que la partie Est du continent est particuli\u00e8rement expos\u00e9e aux points d\u2019\u00e9tranglement maritimes. \u00ab<em>&nbsp;Non seulement il s\u2019agit d\u2019importer du carburant, mais sur la partie Est du continent, ces importations sont vuln\u00e9rables aux points d\u2019\u00e9tranglement \u2014 nous avons tous appris l\u2019existence du d\u00e9troit d\u2019Ormuz cette ann\u00e9e, et ce n\u2019est pas le seul<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9conomiste en chef de l\u2019AFC,&nbsp;<strong>Rita Babihuga-Nsanne,<\/strong>&nbsp;lors du lancement du rapport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 des ressources consid\u00e9rables \u2014 solaire, gaz, p\u00e9trole, min\u00e9raux critiques \u2014, l\u2019Afrique reste d\u00e9pendante des march\u00e9s ext\u00e9rieurs pour son carburant raffin\u00e9, faute d\u2019infrastructures de transformation suffisantes. La comp\u00e9tition entre grandes puissances \u2014<strong>&nbsp;<em>Europe, Chine, Russie, \u00c9tats-Unis<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em>\u2014 pour s\u2019assurer des partenariats \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques avec des pays producteurs comme le&nbsp;<strong>Nigeria<\/strong>&nbsp;ou&nbsp;<strong>l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie<\/strong>&nbsp;s\u2019est nettement acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e ces derniers ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Renforcer les capacit\u00e9s locales comme r\u00e9ponse structurelle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Face \u00e0 ce diagnostic,&nbsp;<strong>l\u2019AFC<\/strong>&nbsp;pr\u00e9conise le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux p\u00f4les de raffinage r\u00e9gionaux et une meilleure exploitation des infrastructures existantes. L\u2019institution estime que r\u00e9soudre la p\u00e9nurie \u00e0 venir suppose \u00e0 la fois des investissements dans des capacit\u00e9s locales de transformation et une r\u00e9duction de l\u2019exposition aux cha\u00eenes d\u2019approvisionnement intercontinentales. Ses recommandations devraient alimenter les discussions du prochain Sommet africain de l\u2019\u00e9nergie, dont la prochaine \u00e9dition est attendue en
